CBDT issues Revised Guidelines for compounding offences under the Income- tax Act, 1961
✅The Guidelines simplify the compounding process, reduce complexities from multiple existing guidelines, and lower compounding charges.
✅This is an additional step towards simplification of procedures aimed at promoting ease of compliance.
